Purchasing/Procurement Data Analyst (Power BI required)

The Purchasing Data Management Specialist’s main responsibilities consist of:

  • Develop and maintains tools for reporting and metrics of Purchasing performance
  • Deep dive of Paid on time metrics to support project improvement
  • Support work process improvements through analytics and reporting
  • Provide training and serves as subject matter expert (SME) for analytical tools (e.g. CPVM, Power BI, MST Tracker, Smart Plant Materials)
  • Serves as SME for Purchasing data and tools
  • Generate and run analytical reports and dashboards

Critical Success Factors

  • Development of nuanced commentary, analyses, and reporting; recommending and supporting KPI metrics and scorecard reporting, providing procure to pay analytics insight, guidance, and support, in addition to a wide range of periodic and unplanned delivery to ad hoc requests as assigned
  • The individual in this role will work independently to accomplish his/her own assigned workload and collaboratively with other members of his/ her Procurement or cross functional team in compliance with the approved standards
  • Periodically review and evaluate content to drive continuous improvement activities
  • Develop and deliver robust reporting and analytics to support fact based decision making
  • Support metrics data capture, analysis and reporting to support performance scorecard, etc.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of purchasing process standards and procedures
  • Proactively identifies analytics and reporting needs, assist in design and implementation of continuous improvement activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Capital and Sourcing work process across Purchase and APAY

Education/Certification/Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years procurement or analytics, preferred
  • Experience with Capital Procurement work process or Sourcing work process
