Product Engineer – Instrument Panels

Position Description:

PMT interior engineer who has plant and launch experience that is has great communication / leadership skills to support cross functional team. Must have great collaboration skills and willingness to support on-site at Kentucky Truck. Well versed in systems WERS / AIMs / CR's / Alert / etc... • Represent and support VHM for all program interfaces • Support functional sign-off and compatibility reviews to deliver all Program Milestones on-time with completed metrics. • Drive functional delivery to meet quality, cost, investment, weight, and timing targets. • Champion trade-off decisions to balance within the VHM Function • Drive cross-functional issue resolution (including program, quality, attribute, manufacturing, STA, studio, color & materials sign off, suppliers etc.). Support escalation when needed. • Support resolution of PD build issues via AIMS, CRs, FCPA, Alerts, & other launch performance metrics for on time delivery of launch • Active, on-site, Body Interior SPOC for program, attributes, VO, and NML teams through launch phases from LR through OKTB

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (open, clear, and inclusive) • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results • Demonstrated organizational & delegation skills with proper follow-up • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues effectively and efficiently • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload managing immediate and future needs • Ability to build strong effective relationships with cross functional teams (Program, Studio, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering) • Strong technical capability and problem-solving skills • Fluent in English...
