Coordinator Human Resources

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary Salaried Personnel representative for the Chicago Modification Center (CMC)
  • Manage Salaried Headcount to maintain or improve cost and structure
  • Lead the external hiring process for the CMC in partnership with the client
  • Recruiting team (work with Mgmt on identifying needs, post open positions, schedule interviews, handle all pre-hire onboarding efforts with Recruiting, etc)
  • Coach and mentor salaried employees
  • Coordinate with other members of the Human Resources team on the initiative at the CMC and main plant, as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for employees at all times
  • Support all Health and Safety activities as required

Skills Required

  • The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
  • Strong ability to interface with plant salaried personnel
  • Excellent written and oral communication

Experience Required

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft includes Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • 2+ years’ experience in leading recruiting efforts

Experience Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Experience with managing headcount and budgets

Education Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
