Skills Required

  • Provide commodity and program management expertise for products, delivering quality, cost and timing targets at the component and systems level
  • Know the commodity and understand cost drivers to deliver cost targets
  • Develop, maintain and execute a commodity strategy
  • Foster professional and healthy supplier relationships
  • Manage special assignments incremental to core responsibilities
  • Lead, plan, develop, and implement projects
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams regionally and/or globally
  • Meet or exceed Purchasing objectives supporting cost, quality, and timing

Experience Required

  • 4-5 years of professional Purchasing experience
  • Creative problem solving
  • Human-centered design thinking
  • Strong computer system skills
  • Collaborative negotiation competency
  • Inter-personal skills and communication
  • Strong Technical aptitude and awareness of castings/engine components
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment

Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business related area (Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting) or Engineering
