Administrative Support Human Resources

Job Description

  • Assist the HR Rep with Recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews (external and internal), communicating with candidates, tracking updates, and preparing onboarding materials •
  • This position would serve as a liaison between that team and the Plant
  • Coordinate salaried personnel announcements, and arrange for new hire meetings with the Plant Manager
  • Monitor and respond to requests submitted to the generic Salaried Personnel email account
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for HR website questions including requests to People First, etc.
  • Support Salaried investigation logistics (schedule interviews, communicate with supervisors)
  • Manage badge access and parking pass requests
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from HR Salaried team
  • Support HR Labor Relations team as needed

Skills Required

  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel

Skills Preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple assignment/projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of Administrative support experience

Experience Preferred

  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment

Education Required

  • High School Diploma

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an HR-related discipline
